On Thursday, May 8th, I made the most perfect trade deal with the British—maybe the most perfect trade deal in the history of trade deals, possibly ever. Keir Starmer (nice guy, not as nice as Boris was, but what can you do) was practically BEGGING for this deal because, frankly, Britain was suffering without American goods. SAD!

THE ART OF MY DEAL - DETAILED BREAKDOWN

Let me tell you how I did it, because nobody makes deals like I do:

CARS & TARIFFS: I told the British: "Look, you want to sell your fancy cars here? Pay up or go home!" And they FOLDED like a cheap suit! Now they get a measly 100,000 cars at only 10% tariff instead of 27.5%. That's EXACTLY what Jaguar Land Rover shipped last year - 102,000 cars! Coincidence? I THINK NOT! I counted every single one! They were desperate, folks, absolutely desperate!
STOCK MARKET EXPLOSION: The stock market? UP BIGLY after my announcement. The S&P 500 jumped over 1%! Even Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce shares SOARED! The fake news media won't tell you this, but billions in market value appeared INSTANTLY because of me. My signature is literally worth billions!
AGRICULTURE DOMINATION: American farmers? They're going to make $5 BILLION more selling to the Brits. That's $700 MILLION in ethanol alone and $250 MILLION in beautiful American beef! Our corn is going to FLOOD their tiny island! And the best part? They're still paying 10% tariffs on most things! I KEPT THE LEVERAGE!

THE NUTS AND BOLTS (AMERICAN-MADE, OF COURSE!)

Let me get into the details because I know details better than anyone:

STEEL & ALUMINUM: I gave them 0% tariffs on steel and aluminum instead of 25%! Why? Because I'm a nice guy! Their steel industry was COLLAPSING before I came along with my amazing deal. Their industry called it "major relief" - which is what everyone says when I solve their problems!
AEROSPACE BRILLIANCE: We're getting duty-free Rolls-Royce jet engines! Incredible engines, the best! And in return, the UK is buying about $10 BILLION in Boeing airplanes. That's a lot of airplanes, folks! Boeing executives are sending me thank you letters every day!
SUPPLY CHAIN MASTERY: This deal secures the supply chains for our aerospace and pharmaceutical companies. Nobody was thinking about supply chains before me! I INVENTED caring about supply chains! Now the British are helping us make America's medicine and airplanes even greater!

EVERYONE IS SAYING IT'S THE GREATEST DEAL

My Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick (very smart guy, Harvard, big brain) said we're doing dozens more deals. DOZENS! Countries are lining up—Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, India—they're all desperate for the Trump Treatment™!

The Europeans? They're acting tough with their "€100 billion in duties" talk (which is about $112 billion American dollars, and believe me, I know exchange rates better than anyone), but trust me, they'll cave. THEY ALWAYS DO! I've dealt with these people for years. They talk big, but when I walk into the room, they get very, very respectful. Very respectful.

THE BRITISH KNOW WHO'S BOSS NOW

Starmer was practically in tears thanking me. Had to sign on the anniversary of VE Day just to save face! Called it a "special relationship"—which it is, very special, but mostly for them because I'm letting them sell things to us.

Their car companies—Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, those fancy British ones—their stocks SOARED after I generously gave them my deal. The CEOs are calling it "greater certainty" for their sector. You know who gave them that certainty? ME! Nobody else could have done this deal. Nobody!

THE ECONOMIC IMPACT - TREMENDOUS!

The Bank of England says my tariffs would have trimmed 0.3% off their GDP over three years. So basically I SAVED their economy! Without me, thousands of British auto workers would be in the unemployment line. Instead, they're building cars for Americans!

The two-way trade between us was $148 BILLION last year. That's a lot of money, folks! And now it's going to be even more because of my deal-making skills. Those economists who say the impact will be "modest"? TOTAL LOSERS! They've never made a deal in their lives!

THE QUEUE STARTS HERE, FOLKS!

Every country is now BEGGING for a deal like Britain got. But guess what? They might not get one! Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Depends how nice they are to me. That's how deals work, folks!
